Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Carson Wentz has a torn ACL in his left knee and will miss the rest of the regular season and the postseason, coach Doug Pederson confirmed Monday.
Wentz suffered the injury in Sunday’s victory over the Los Angeles Rams and underwent an MRI on Monday morning.
The NFL Network reported that Winston and Koetter’s relationship was “not in a great place” and that Winston did not feel that Koetter gave him the proper support while he attempted to play through a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder earlier this season. The report also stated that Winston was growing increasingly frustrated with the predictability of Koetter’s offense.
They should be happy Gronkowski’s suspension is for exactly one game. It ensures he will be fully healthy for the tougher test against the Steelers, and he won’t need to recover on a short week.
